New for 2025: Exciting Tour Additions
Enjoy a leisurely ride through forest tracks and along the shore of Loch Achray to Achray Farm. At the farm, we meet the farmer with her goats and kids, and learn how she makes delicious homemade ice cream with homegrown and foraged natural flavours. You can taste the ice creams as you watch the goats play.
Enjoy a relaxing cruise on the historic steamship SS Sir Walter Scott to Stronachlacher at the head of stunning Loch Katrine. We can stop the Pier Cafe for some coffee and cake or sample something from their delicious menu (*not included), before we take our time to cycle back the 14.5 miles along the lochside private road to Trossachs Pier. We make several stops along the way to take in atmospheric locations such as Glengyle House and Clan McGregor graveyard.
Our original classic tour through fabulous scenery on the banks of Loch Katrine, inspiration of Victorian Romantic poet Sir Walter Scott. The route takes the virtually traffic-free private lochside road to Brenachoile point (used as a location in Outlander) and onwards to Stronachlachar, with spectacular views up and down the loch. This wild country was home to Rob Roy MacGregor, Scotland’s own Robin Hood folk hero, and is steeped in Clan history. a fantastic day out with a stunning 28-mile-long return route.
Loch Katrine Evening Ebike Tour
See the best of Loch Katrine after everyone else has gone home.
We cycle along the lochside tarmac road to the highest viewpoint on the route, and admire the incredible mountain and loch views, and taste a wee dram of local whisky and sweet treats before returning to Trossachs Pier. There’s still plenty to see and lots of local history to hear about on this shorter, quieter version of the classic Loch Katrine Explorer tour.
