Try an amazing ebike tour at Loch Katrine. We embark on a Trossachs adventure through fabulous scenery on the banks of Loch Katrine, inspiration of Victorian Romantic poet Sir Walter Scott.
The route takes the virtually traffic-free private lochside road to Brenachoile point (used as a location in Outlander) and onwards to Stronachlachar, with spectacular views up and down the loch.
This wild country was home to Rob Roy MacGregor, Scotland's own Robin Hood folk hero, and is steeped in Clan history.
A cafe stop at Stronachlachar is a must (not included). We return by the same route.

We start with a brief climb on foot to the viewing tower at Loch Katrine to orientate ourselves in this spectacular landscape. We then set off for an enjoyable and leisurely ride through forest tracks and along the shore of Loch Achray to Achray Farm.
At the farm, we meet the farmer with her goats and kids, and learn how she makes delicious homemade ice cream with homegrown and foraged natural flavours. You can taste the ice creams as you watch the goats browse and the kids play.
We return to our starting point, via a different route that includes a short section of road.

Boat cruise included in the price. Enjoy a relaxing cruise on the historic steamship SS Sir Walter Scott to Stronachlacher at the head of stunning Loch Katrine (*occasionally other vessels provide the service). There's an option to pop into the Pier Cafe for a bite to eat from their quality menu (*not included), before we take our time to cycle back along the lochside private road to Trossachs Pier.
We make several stops along the way to take in atmospheric locations such as Glengyle House and Clan McGregor graveyard.

We can offer a range of private bespoke tours to suit your requirements and interests. Some ideas include, an evening tour at Loch Katrine. See the best of Loch Katrine when everyone else has gone home. If you're lucky, you might see shy pine martens and other elusive wildlife.
We cycle to the highest viewpoint on the route, stop awhile to take in the evening quiet and admire the view, and taste some local whisky and sweet treats before returning the way we came. Or head up the old railway line (NCN 78 cycle route) to Strathyre or visit Rob Roys grave at Balquhidder. Or explore wild Glen Ogle and cycle over its classic viaduct bridge. Another option is a ride to Loch Lomond and back! There are plenty of fantastic routes in the Trossachs to explore by bike.

Our routes are off-road on a mix of lovely forest and loch trails, or take quiet minor and private roads. Electric bikes allow riders of mixed abilities and fitness to easily ride together.

What's Included?
Guided PRIVATE ebike tour of the Trossachs with friendly local guide. Small group sizes (minimum 2 and max 6 people). Ebike and helmet hire included in the price. Please note the minimum legal age for children to ride electric bikes is 14. Ideal for beginners, no previous experience of riding e-bikes required.
