Loch Venachar Explorer
Distance 16 Miles/25KM Grade Easy Time 3-4 hours
Enjoy a Leisurely circuit of beautiful Loch Venachar in the heart of the Trossachs with plenty of stops, including Achray Farm with the chance to try home made goats milk ice cream (bramble and mint is our favourite) and the historic Brig o Turk Tea Room. Taking in some fabulous scenery and amazing views towards Ben Ledi, this leisurely tour is a fantastic introduction to the area. Mostly off road along the good trails of The Lochs and Glens way (NCN7) through the woods and along the loch and on quiet minor roads.

Rob Roy Explorer
Distance 29 Miles/47KM Grade Moderate Time 4 hours
A more challenging ride through wild and remote landscapes to Rob Roy’s grave at Balquhidder. Enjoy the spectacular views along the former Oban Railway line past the Falls of Leny and beautiful Loch Luibnig to Strathyre. Lunch option at the Broch Cafe and the chance to look at some of the sculptures on the award-winning BLISS Art trail. A sleepy minor road through Strathyre forest leads to Balquhidder Kirk, its atmospheric graveyard is the resting Place of Rob Roy Macgregor. Our return means you can stop for cake and coffee at Mhor 84.
Note there is an optional challenging extension possible to Glen Ogle with its iconic viaduct.
Loch Katrine Explorer

Iconic Trossachs adventure through some fabulous scenery en route to majestic Loch Katrine It was Loch Katrine that inspired one of Sir Walter Scott Scott’s best know poems, ‘Lady of the Lake From Callander we pass along quiet minor roads and off road trails to lovely Loch Venachar. Past stunning Loch Achray with views to Ben A’an into the heart of the Trossachs. At Loch Katrine with its’ heritage steamship cruises we can stop for a bite to eat, before heading along a virtually traffic free lochside road to Brenachoile point with spectacular views down the loch (used as a setting in Outlander) This is wild Rob Roy MacGregor’s country steeped in history. Our return route is along the delightful Lochs and Glens Way to Callander
Doune and Dunblane Explorer
Distance 28 Miles/45KM Grade moderate Time 4 hours
An enjoyable ride on minor roads and former railways, by river valleys and to the historic and charming villages Deanston, Doune and Dunblane A quiet road follows the river Teith to the historic village of Deanston with its 18th century cotton mill, now an award-winning distillery. We then visit Doune with is superb castle, steeped in history, recognised by fans of Outlander and Monty Python. In Doune, our journey follows NCR 765 on the old railway towards Dunblane, and cross the delightful Faery Bridge over Allan Water to the spectacular medieval Cathedral and Victorian High Street.
Our return route along the minor Drumloist road back to Callander offers spectacular mountain views and the chance to stop at the acclaimed McQueens Gin Distillery
